This Syrup Will Stop a Cough Dead in its Tracks: Ginger Thyme Cough Syrup

Thyme is a powerful and effective disinfectant and can be used both externally (as a wash) and internally to help fight off infection. One of the best herbal cold remedies, it is often used to help ward off colds and as a rinse to treat a sore throat and oral infections.

Even the big mainstream mouthwash brand, Listerine has released a “natural” counterpart that includes thyme oil and less alcohol, too. The big conventional manufacturers couldn’t ignore the effectiveness of natural plant compounds forever right? Plus they want people like you to continue to buy their stuff and more people are waking up to natural, non-toxic alternatives every day!

Thyme also makes a fine tea for treating coughs and chest complaints and is used in many anti-fungal remedies. Like many herbs, it is also rich in antioxidants. Learn to make a powerfully effective cough syrup below.
