Researchers soaked 75 mg (2.6 oz) of holy basil leaves in 100 ml (3.3 oz) of water that had around 7.4 ppm of fluoride.

After the leaves have soaked in the water for 8 hours, it was found that fluoride levels dropped to 1.1 ppm. Even the World health Organization is recognizing that the amount of fluoride deemed safe is around 0.5 to 1 ppm.

What’s the Tulsi Plant?

Ayurvedic medicine has utilized the Tulsi plant as medicine because of its healing properties. The stems and leaves of the plant are considered medicine. The Tulsi plant is said to be a sacred herb in all of India.

The plant has oleanolic acid, eugenol, ursolic acid, linalool, carvacol, rosmarininc acid and other various active compounds that provide many great health benefits.
