President Donald Trump has found a new doctor for his coronavirus task force — and this time there’s no daylight between them. Trump last week announced that Dr. Scott Atlas, a frequent guest on Fox News Channel, has joined the White House as a pandemic adviser. Atlas, the former chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center and a fellow at Stanford’s conservative Hoover Institution, has.…long been a critic of coronavirus lockdowns and has campaigned for kids to return to the classroom and for the return of college sports, just like Trump.

Atlas’ hiring comes amid ongoing tensions between the president and Drs. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious diseases expert, and Deborah Birx, the task force’s coordinator….
Atlas, the sole doctor to share the stage at Trump’s pandemic briefings this past week, has long questioned polices that have been embraced by public health experts both in the U.S. and abroad. He has called it a “good thing” for younger, healthy people to be exposed to the virus….In an April op-ed in The Hill newspaper, Atlas bemoaned that lockdowns may have prevented the development of “natural herd immunity.” “In the absence of immunization, society needs circulation of the virus, assuming high-risk people can be isolated,” he wrote.
Paul E. Peterson, director of the program on education policy and governance at Harvard University and a senior fellow at Hoover with Atlas, praised Atlas as “a really brilliant guy” with “a tremendous knowledge base” about the virus. Peterson said Atlas is someone who conducts ”the most rigorous and careful research before he comes to a conclusion.” Peterson, who has written several op-eds with Atlas advocating the reopening of schools and who appeared with Atlas at a White House event this past week, praised Atlas as “delightful to work with” and stressed the value of Trump having input from people with a variety of backgrounds.

After months of tension and disagreement between President Donald Trump and the public health experts on his pandemic response task force, he’s added a new one: Dr. Scott Atlas, a medical adviser whose views echo his own.
Trump first introduced Atlas to the American public at a White House briefing Monday, saying he has “many good ideas” and will take administration efforts to combat the pandemic to “a new level.” “Scott is a very famous man, who is also highly respected,” Trump said. “He’s working with us and will be working with us on the coronavirus. And he has many great ideas.”
Speaking at a White House event Wednesday highlighting Trump’s push to reopen schools, his ideas sounded much like Trump’s. “We know that the risk of the disease is extremely low for children, even less than that of seasonal flu. We know that the harms of locking out the children from school are enormous. And we also know, as we all would agree, that educating America’s children is right at the top of the list for our nation’s priorities,” Atlas said. “So, I thank the president and everyone here for acknowledging these truths, and to get kids back to school safely.” “We’ve been working with him very closely, all of the task force, all of the White House,” Trump responded.

A senior fellow at Stanford’s conservative Hoover Institution, Atlas is a neuroradiologist and not an expert on infectious diseases or pandemics. But he is a frequent contributor to Fox News where he has called on schools to open, endorsed the return of college football, raised questions about mask wearing and spoken out against lockdowns and the “frenzy” of mass testing — all stances Trump has taken.
“You know that there’s no real good science on general population widespread in all circumstances wearing masks,” Atlas told Fox News host Tucker Carlson.… telling Fox News earlier this month that children “have no risk for serious illness” and “they’re not significant spreaders.” “If there’s no risk to children, no significant risk I should say, then what are you protecting them from? If kids get the infection in this school that’s still okay,” Atlas said Thursday in a sit-down interview with the conservative outlet Sinclair Broadcast Group.
America Finally Goes Herd is a video by Del Bigtree of The Highwire which shows that Dr. Atlas supports of herd immunity rather than lockdown, masks, social distancing, contact tracing, and a vaccine. Herd immunity is the policy used by Sweden which Dr. Michael Ryan of the World Health Organization said in April is the best model to follow now.
Hidden Costs of the Lockdown

The side effects of the lockdowns keep getting harder to ignore. Dr. Brian Stauffer is head of cardiology at Denver Health. He and his colleagues wanted to figure out why the number of people arriving at the hospital suffering from cardiac arrest had plummeted in recent months.
According to the Colorado Sun: Looking at data on ambulance calls in Denver, they found that, while overall calls for service went down during the stay-at-home period, the number of people dying from cardiac arrests at home shot up. Stauffer’s team found that cardiac arrests at home in Denver more than doubled in the two weeks after the statewide stay-at-home order was issued compared with historical averages. Even compared with more recent data, the weekly average of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests jumped to 46 during those two weeks, versus 26 or 27 in the three months prior. Stauffer and his colleagues found that the number of people in Denver who died of cardiac arrests at home in the two weeks following the statewide stay-at-home order was greater than the total number of people who died of COVID-19 in the city during that time.
Oh, but “listen to the science,” everybody! According to the “listen to the science” crowd, “science” demands lockdowns. Apart from the zero connection between lockdowns and health outcomes, the bigger issue is this: “science” doesn’t tell you how you should decide between pouring all resources into COVID-19 while leaving horrific wreckage — including massive loss of life — everywhere else.
It is rank superstition to think “the science” could possibly — or is even intended to — answer a question like this. Science can inform our decision-making, naturally, but it obviously can’t tell us what we should value or how we should prioritize our various goals. Not to mention: these days “the science” seems to be all about pretending there are no trade-offs, no competing goals. Yesterday I wrote to you about the schools, and the day before that about the massive spike in suicidal ideation among the youth. The wreckage keeps piling up, and our leaders obviously have no idea what the endgame is.
When the COVID-19 “pandemic” was reported earlier this year, the World Health Organization praised China’s unprecedented draconian lockdown and much of the world adopted that as its model. However, in late April, Dr. Michael Ryan of The World Health Organization recognized Sweden’s “herd immunity” as the right model in dealing with COVID-19. Sweden’s approach did not involve the high economic, social, and emotional costs and violation of rights and freedoms of a lockdown and was just as effective.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease at the National Institutes of Health, published an article on March 26 in the New England Journal of Medicine called Covid-19 – Navigating the Uncharted. The article says “the overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a fatality rate of approximately 0.1)…rather than a disease similar to SARS or MERS, which have had case fatality rates of 9 to 10% and 36%, respectively”. Dr. Fauci is a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.

Dr Dan Erickson and Dr Artin Massihi counter the official narrative discusses is a video in which Dr. Erickson and Dr. Massihi say we should end the lockdown now because it is not necessary and the costs are too high. Those costs include loss of revenue, depression, alcoholism, spousal abuse, child abuse, suicide, etc. They point out that these things “are significantly more detrimental to society than a virus that has proven similar in nature to the seasonal flu we have every year”. In other words – the “cure” is much worse than the disease! The “health” policy has been a dangerous, unhealthy over-reaction.

Dr. Atlas: Contact Tracing Not Possible For COVID-19

Hoover Institution senior fellow Dr. Scott Atlas told “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Thursday that using contact tracing as a prerequisite for reopening U.S. cities forced into lockdown by the coronavirus pandemic is “simply illogical.” “Contact tracing is an important tool for public health pandemics but not now,” Atlas explained, “not in this stage when millions and millions of people already have the virus.”
“It’s sort of a completely illogical use of this very important tool,” he added. “This contact tracing is useful when a new pandemic starts very early in a very focused small group like it did in South Korea at the beginning of all this.”

Neil Ferguson of the Imperial College in Britain developed the “Imperial Model”, the projections for the coronavirus on which the UK, the US, and many other countries based their COVID-19 policies and decisions to go into lockdown which is destroying their economies, school systems, food industries, etc. When scientists asked Ferguson for his code, he delayed for six weeks because the code was 13 years old! Ferguson asked Microsoft to upgrade the code before he released it for review!
When Ferguson finally released the code, the Gateway Pundit ran a headline saying “The Imperial Model is now confirmed as a complete fraud”. Now, Ferguson has resigned in disgrace! Del points out that Ferguson was responsible for the destruction of the world’s economy because countries followed his advice. Ferguson’s projections about the bird flu and mad cow disease were also wildly wrong years ago.

Is Big Pharma Frightened By Herd Immunity Plan?

On August 10th I reported that the shooting outside of the Whitehouse may have been a “warning shot” from Big Pharma interests against Trump appointing Dr. Atlas to advise his coronavirus task force. Atlas is adamant that children need to return to school and lockdowns are an ineffective way of dealing with COVID. August 10, 2020 — It could just be a coincidence, but…This evening President Donald Trump made his boldest medical move to date announcing Dr. Scott Atlas had been added to his coronavirus task force. The announcement was interrupted when Secret Service removed the president because shots had been fired just outside the White House.
The Daily Mail reported the following:
After Trump declared himself not rattled by the sudden (reported shooting) interruption, he briefly pointed to Atlas, a fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, and mentioned him to the press.
He said Atlas, who has appeared on Fox News, ‘will be working with us on the coronavirus’ and ‘he has many great ideas.’Could just be a coincidence, but…Dr. Atlas has been making news appearances insisting that children must return to school immediately, and he is against lockdowns. He is very dangerous to the Gates/Fauci wing of the coronavirus response as he continually cites the actual science that proves children have a near zero risk of contracting the coronavirus by attending school, and that lockdowns are not effective.
This is huge! It’s as important as Trump’s support for hydroxychloroquine. Atlas is a serious scientist who could be a very real danger to the Gates/Fauci/WHO faction that wants to use the coronavirus as an excuse to “reset” all of modern society as laid out by the elites at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. Recently Trump stated he may have to “hide” because there are some very rich people who are extremely upset with him for what he is doing to bring prescription drug prices down.
Sweden’s Herd Immunity Success!
Why Sweden, pilloried by the whole world for refusing to lock down — with schools staying open and no face mask laws — may be having the last laugh as experts say Stockholm is close to achieving herd immunity asks: “Is it possible this Scandinavian nation might have made the right long-term call?”
The article explains that Swedes “saw their remit as going beyond simply fighting the virus to include keeping the country functioning as much as possible”.
Anders Tegnell, the state epidemiologist who steered Sweden’s strategy for tackling this crisis said:
We have knowledge of the negative effects of closing schools so that was definitely in our thinking,’ he said. ‘Also to keep society open, keep unemployment down, make it possible for people to meet each other. We know that social contacts are a little bit dangerous in these times but they are very important for your wider health. It is necessary to keep a balance between stopping the epidemic and keeping people healthy.’ The Swedish approach relies on trust rather than enforcement, going to the heart of how Swedes see their society.
Dr. Atlas’ Plan Spares America Massive Protests!
Even Americans who are not Trump supporters can see that he is now putting his life on the line to rescue America from the COVID-19 “health” policies which Dr. Atlas has described as “national suicide”. America was spared massive protests against the COVID-19 policies because President Trump replaced Dr. Fauci with Dr. Atlas whose policies are in line with those of Sweden which the World Health Organization cited in April to be the correct model to follow now.
Dr. Atlas recommends the full re-opening of America in the fall. He wants us to be able to go back to school and back to work without fear and without the onerous restrictions and draconian policies that millions of people in Europe and Canada are fighting now to overturn. So, America does not have to stay in near lockdown for almost another year while waiting for a rushed unprecedented RNA vaccine that even pro-vaxxers are now wary of taking. We can get back to normal immediately!
