Anxiety, Heart Problems, Chest Pains, Cancer from EMR But “No Proof of Harm”

Anxiety, Heart Problems, Chest Pains, Cancer from EMR But "No Proof of Harm"

By Brandon Turbeville, Natural Blaze

Despite the mainstream media and the Telecom industry’s claims that there are no connections between cellphones and negative health effects, particularly cancer, the fact is that the manuals of the devices manufactured by the same industry admit that they do.

Indeed, the contradiction between their public statements and the statements on their manuals are blaringly obvious. Any warnings regarding the negative effects of these now ubiquitous devices are dismissed as “conspiracy theory,” “paranoia,” or being “anti science” and “anti technology.”

However, the evidence is clear that wireless devices are affecting our health and environment. Below are just a few bullet points to keep in mind the next time you use or even sit next to your wireless device.

Disrupting Sleep

As BN Frank writes in the article, “Unsafe Tech Use Displayed in Marketing Campaigns for Prescription Drugs, TV Programs, Films, and More,

For many years medical experts have been warning against keeping cordless phones and cell phones near beds due to radiation and blue light. Exposure to this can be especially hard on children. This may be why Silicon Valley parents have been limiting their kids’ exposure to new technology for many years already.

Cordless landline phones also emit Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) so it’s really important that they aren’t near beds either.

If parents in Silicon Valley are concerned enough to limit their children’s exposure, it’s a safe bet that you should be doing so also. After all, they should know.

Heart Problems

Dr. Magda Havas, who has been studying and reporting on the dangers of cellphone/WiFi radiation for some time, has also written about how WiFi devices can actually affect the heart. In a study by Dr. Havas and her colleagues at the Ramazinni Institute which was subsequently published in the European Journal of Oncology, an experiment demonstrated a clear connection between such radiation and irregular/rapid heart beat.

In a discussion of the study on Dr. Havas’ website, it is stated clearly that:

According to this research, some individuals are hypersensitive to microwave radiation and respond when they are exposed to levels well below federal guidelines (5 microW/cm2 or 0.5% of guidelines in Canada & U.S.). During real time monitoring of the heart some individuals experienced an irregular heart rate or a rapid heart rate that occurred only during provocation and not during sham exposure (when the radiation was off). This is the first study showing such dramatic and repeatable results.

The sympathetic nervous system up regulated and the parasympathetic nervous system down regulated during exposure, which is the typical “flight-or-fight” stress response. Feelings of anxiety as well as pain or pressure in the chest were associated with the rapid or irregular heart beat among some of the participants tested.

This test is objective and directly measures the heart’s response to radiation and is unlike subjective testing, where scientists ask individuals if they know whether a device is turned on or off and then determine their “sensitivity” based on perception of exposure, which is just that perception and NOT sensitivity.

This is the obvious one. Radiation is known to cause cancer and cellphones emit radiation. Seems like a no-brainer. But we are constantly being told that no definitive link exists between cellphones and cancer. Eventually, however, even corporate media has had to admit that some links do exist. To its credit, CBS News did a report in early January entitled “Cell phones and cancer: 8 dumb ways to boost cancer risk,” where it stated,

It’s no secret that cell phones emit electromagnetic radiation, but is it harmful? The CDC says there’s no proof of harm. But the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer calls the radiation “possibly carcinogenic to humans,” and recent research – including an ominous 2009 Journal of Clinical Oncology study – have drawn similar conclusions.

In covering the CBS article, BN Frank wrote,

Cell phones operate by using wireless (WiFi) radiation. WiFi is microwave radiation – like what cooks food in microwave ovens.

In 2011, The World Health Organization classified all sources of wireless (WiFi) radiation as a “Group 2B Possible Carcinogen.

Some scientists believe there is enough research that proves it should be classified as a Group A Carcinogen.

CNN also reported on a rat study that found a link between cell phone radiation and cancer in rats.

The Blood Brain Barrier

One effect of WiFi radiation that is rarely discussed is its effect on the blood brain barrier. Research conducted in 2012 revealed that WiFi radiation can actually cause the blood brain barrier to leak. This doesn’t just cause irritation, it can reduce impulse control and, according to more research, actually increase the potential for violent and homicidal behavior.

BN Frank, who regularly covers the issue of WiFi and cellphone radiation for Activist Post, has compiled a list of websites the writer recommends for anyone who is interested in learning more about the dangers of WiFi radiation and what they can do to protect themselves.
