Benefits and Recipe Of Natural Antibiotic Ointment
Natural, Effective, Healthy AND Cheaper. What’s not to like about making your own homemade antibiotic ointment? Treating a cut or scrape naturally is just as easy as treating it the conventional way.
WHY CONVENTIONAL TREATMENTS AREN’T IDEAL
Common conventional first aid options include antibiotic creams and petroleum based products. The widespread use of antibiotic creams and washes lead to resistant bacteria such as MSRA. Cuts can safely be treated with natural alternatives that won”t have these long term effects on our population. Read more about the dangers of Why You Should Probably Stop Using Antibacterial Soap. Petroleum based products are not a good choice for our environment and also have negative health effects. Petroleum creates a barrier on the skin and blocks pores from breathing. It has also been said that it could be carcinogenic.
Mother Nature provides us all sorts of plants, herbs etc to heal ourselves with. The important part is learning how to use the ingredients to mix up the perfect healing ointment, without having to endure the side effects associated with pharmaceutical alternatives.
Below is a recipe for you to make a natural, potent, topical antibacterial solution. All the ingredients in this recipe contain healing properties. The base is a combination of oils that are anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and anti-fungal. The herbs have various medicinal properties as well. Beeswax is a skin protectant, keeping irritants off the skin while allowing air circulation into the injured area. Witch Hazel helps to clean and disinfect wounds while speeding up the healing process.
