Vegan Recipes: No-Bake Vegan-Friendly Dessert Recipes To Try!

Before, vegans have limited dessert choices due to the fact that most desserts make use of eggs and other animal byproducts.

These days, the food industry has discovered various substitutes for this animal by products in making desserts. That’s why vegans can now enjoy a wide array of dessert recipes.

Here are some of no-bake recipes to try: 

Dessert Recipe #1: Vegan-Friendly Chocolate Banana Pudding 

What you will need:
  • a banana
  • 2 cups of silken tofu
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup of carob powder
What you will do:
  1. Place everything in a blender or a food processor.
  2. Blend or process it until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour into a small pan and let it chill for about one hour.
  4. Once chilled, you can cut it into slices.
  5. Before serving, you can top it off with freshly sliced fruits such as berries or mangoes.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Dessert #2: No-Bake Vegan-Friendly Brownies


What you will need:
  • a cup of mixed walnuts and pecans
  • a cup of dates, pitted
  •  ÂĽ cup of cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons of freshly made coconut butter
  • a pinch Maldon Salt
  • ½ recipe of raw chocolate icing
What you will do:
  1. Process the walnuts and pecans in a blender until the mixture becomes crumbly and small.
  2. Add in the dates in the mixture and process until the dates are thoroughly blended and the dough is sticking together.
  3. Add in the rest of the ingredients in a blender. Blend until the mixture is thoroughly processed but ensure that it is still crumbly. Avoid making the dough too buttery.
  4. Place the dough in a small pan. Using your hands (ensure that it is clean), press the mixture down firmly.
  5. Cover it with the raw chocolate icing. Make sure that the icing is evenly spread out. 
  6. Put it in the freezer for about an hour. Slice it into 6 large squares after an hour.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
