Thanksgiving is only a few days away. We wanted to let you know what the AKA is thankful for. We are thankful for the chance, hard fought, to keep our beloved plant legal. We are thankful for the friendships and camaraderie we have gained. We are thankful for the donations, the emails, the phone calls and letters. We are quite simply, thankful for YOU.

Now we ask you, what are you thankful for? Are you as thankful as we are for making history with a chance to save our beloved plant? Are you thankful for all of the time, energy, dedication and effort the AKA has expended and for the best teams of experts in the country we’ve hired to fight hand in hand with us? Are you thankful for the plant that brought us all together? We’re asking you today to show us that thankfulness.

We have over 17,000 supporters that our email blasts go out to. We have almost 12,000 members in our Facebook group and over 21,000 followers on our public page. Yet only 5629 comments have been submitted and donations from consumers have slowed to a trickle. Our expenses have increased exponentially, and while we’ve been able to raise a significant amount of money in a short amount of time, it’s not enough. This fight is far from over. We need your comments and your donations. Can’t put it any more simply than that. We cannot do this alone, we cannot do this without your financial support. Every dollar literally helps.

We are fast approaching the comment deadline. Dec.1st is only 7 days away… 7 days to submit your comment…. To fully join this fight to keep our beloved plant legal. Don’t let the ‘woulda, coulda, shoulda’s be what we remember of this fight. Don’t let this fight end with a whimper.

Please submit your comments, they don’t have to be works of art, they simply need to be words from your heart, from your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, Drs. Anyone can comment. It can be as simple as “Please do not place kratom on the list of Scheduled drugs. Please keep kratom available as a natural choice for my health and well-being,” or a 4999 character comment with all the study links and research available. It simply needs to be done.
